What is your favorite sport, and how did you get started?

Wrestling is my favorite sport. I watched my little brother wrestle until eventually I decided to try it for myself and ended up quitting ballet.

Can you share a recent accomplishment that you're really proud of?

Winning the u15 Pan-American Championships at 58 kg a few weeks ago.

How did it feel to achieve this goal?

It truly felt like all my hard work had paid off. I finally achieved something worth bragging about.

What do you enjoy most about practicing and training?

I enjoy the fact that how much work I put in is how much I'll get out of it. My results will be the reflection of that.

Do you have any favorite drills or exercises?

I really enjoy lifting weights because it helps me become stronger and more explosive in my technique.

Do you have a favorite athlete or sports hero who inspires you?

My favorite athlete is Tamyra Mensah-Stock because she has achieved so much. Her personality is amazing!

Can you share a favorite team memory?

My favorite team memory was when we all went to a summer wrestling camp. It was a lot of fun and brought us closer for this season.

What's your all-time favorite moment in wrestling?

My favorite moment in wrestling is when I won my finals match for Pan Ams. I got to run the US flag and represent our country.

What are your goals for the future in wrestling?

My goals for the future in wrestling is to go D1 in college. Also, I have goals to make a World Team and win Fargo.

What's your favorite snack to eat before or after competition/practice?

My favorite snacks are uncrustables and clif bars.

What do you enjoy most about being active and playing sports?

I enjoy inspiring other girls to come out and try wrestling. Seeing how much support I have from people when I either achieve or come close to achieving something in my sport.
